best way to sanitize and wash mass amounts of toys?

whats the easiest way to sanitize a LOT of little toys? i.e. matchbox cars, tonka chuck cars and tracks.
we’re getting ready to move, and all of my sons toys have spent 4 months in strage in the middle of the desert., not to mention they need to be santized. should i just use a bathtub, hot water, and bleach?

put bleach in the bath tub hoy water put all the toys in let them soak about 10-15 mins. rinse then lay out a towel and lay the toys out to dry i do it all the time also if they are in a plastic toy box its good to wipe it clean too also dont put it in the bath with just hot water and soap cuz that leaves a soapy film on the toys and even know its has only been out in the desert or whatever or just sitting in the toy box in your childs room for a while they should be cleaned at least once a month
